Each egg is meticulously handmade, with each of the roughly 60 ‘scales’ being hand glued in place. Each egg is also hand-painted with a variety of acrylics, enamels, glitters, and hand mixed paints, then sealed with a triple thick gloss glaze that protects against gentle handling and scratches.

They are quite sturdy for a handmade product!

Each Egg alone measures at a diminutive 1.5 inches and weighs only a few ounces, so they are easy to wear!

Comes with a 20 inch black waxed cord necklace with silver lobster claw clasp and extender chain.

While sealed and protected from basic handling and the elements, this is still a hand-painted piece that is subject to breakage with excessive handling ( ie: picking at scales, hard scratching, hard squeezing) and is liable to chip with significant falls on hard surfaces.

This is meant for gentle wear and for occasional handling, avoiding excessive elements (extended UV, water, etc) will ensure its longest lifespan.
